Fobott'r Numerology

Here's a quick snapshot of the spreadsheet I'm using to keep track of Fobott'r numerology, which enters into things like Fobott'r names.

The first six numerals are about the Fobott'r body. They have two legs, four three-fingered hands, and one head. Numbers 7 through B (11 base 12) are external to the body. (The Fobott'r crest is a symbiont - it's the only external numeral to have a one-syllable name.)

I have symbols for all these numerals, but I haven't scanned those in yet. I suspect that when the current online book hits print I'll devote a good half page to a clean version of that.

The spreadsheet isn't for you. It's for me. If I wanted to teach everybody to count like a Fobott'r I'd have provided something other than a screen grab. But yeah, Fomo and Fobo are special cases. Fobo in particular. When you have a number with ...11... in it somewhere you may get the word for one (fo) repeated. But when you are talking about the number eleven (base 12, so thirteen base 10) it's always Fobo. The system is not just numbering. It's NUMEROLOGY. Some numbers are extra-special.

1) Six numerals - finger, feet, hand, arms, head, and self. Crest/soul is seven. 2) You hold up a single finger to show "one", so "one" is a single finger; an entire hand is 3 fingers, so "three" is a hand. It's similar to how we refer to slapping our hand together with someone else's as a "high five" (even though we're mostly clapping palms, not five individual fingers).

I have some problems with the explanation and the corresponding table. I hope it's just that I don't get something but... 1/ You say the first six numerals are body-related. Yet, finger, feet, hand, arms and head make only five numerals. Unless "soul" is corporeal, but I doubt it. Maybe if Crest was before Soul, since, while a symbiot and thus not part of a Fobott'r's body per se, it is physical. 2/ I don't get why hands and arms are together, but not feet and legs. 3/ I find the order of the body numerals quite strange... One head, two feet, three fingers per hand, four hands, in my opinion, would have been more logically ordered as I wrote them: 1 (head), 2 (feet), 3 (fingers), 4 (hands or arms)... and, well, I don't see the five anywhere, honestly, since they have six limbs (unless they have five toes, which would allow for 5 (toes—movement), 6 (limbs—support and protection/embrace), 7 (crest), 8 (soul)... 4/ Why are both ma and fomo meaning "power"? And shoudn't it be "foma", and no "fomo" (otherwise, you may also want to change one of those syllables, because it is quite easy to reverse them and get "mofo"...) I also agree with the other comments about pethpethmafo sounding more like 2201, or mayber 20 (2 as the "second" number—the tens for us—, 0 as the "first"—the unit for us), the risk with great numbers and the fact that 0 belongs at the start of the table.

Why is ma between mira and fomo. 0 should be before 1 not between 11 and 12. Or are fomo and fobo like our ten and eleven. Weirdly named in that they don't relate to zero and one like 12 , 13 , 14 and so on are named like 2, 3, 4. It would be sort of less confusing if you included the first 36 counting numbers ma through fima (30). On 3 rows of a spreadsheet. The numerology descriptions for fopeth through fima may just make this an unnecessarily complicated addition, but it would help show how fomo and fobo act as special cases
