July ended up being a doozy, so apologies for not being active here. There was a family emergency, and we had to say goodbye to someone special. I made an unplanned trip to help with arrangements and provide emotional support, and I believed I succeeded.
This month has taught me so much about compassion and generosity! Ya know, it's not every day that you meet friends who will rush to help you when the chips are down, but I learned I'm surrounded by genuinely supportive people. I'm incredibly touched by people's willingness to donate time, money, and effort, and it eased an otherwise tumultuous month.
Immediately after that I hopped another plane for a planned trip to Seattle! I love the Pacific Northwest, don't you? The trees, the air, the mountains - it's so refreshing and so different from what I know in the South! Pictured here is me at Pike's Place Market. I get a big kick outta that place.
Tonight I'm also working on a special update for you all - the long awaited (and long delayed) Tumblr Era Eclair's Works! I was originally going to put these on Gumroad in a pay-what-you-want package, but you Lovelies deserve to get access right here, don't ya think? I have all of the collected works, and now I'm checking their formatting, then I'll zip them up and post them here for you to enjoy. There are some oldies but goodies in there!
Until next time, stay lovely!
