That was an interesting question about why oda is kaido starting new project but then he would eventually be defeated.. Thats the part of world building of one piece. Even though we know that kaido is gonna be dealt with sometime, he doesnβt know that and is planning to do his shit in his way. We are following luffy and shs. But the one piece world is moving too along with its characters. Every character has their own thing going., has their own motive and their own story to tell. Yamato was waiting for luffy. Kaido was busy building his factories to dominate the world, etcβ¦ Whats more interesting to me is, why though. Why now that he is starting this new project. Was it cause he now has another yonko with him?? If he wanted he couldβve easily cut off orochi any time and start this project as soon as oden died. No one couldβve done anything to him.
