A really great first episode to set the tone and introduce the world! I'm really excited for this, and I'm surprised that I remembered a name from the game ๐
The animation is top notch, and I already care for some of the characters. Clearly nothing bad will happen. The first scene in the show showed me that everything is sunshine and rainbows ๐จ๐คฃ

There is a big hype around it right now and it is absolutely deserved. it is the same level of great (visual) storytelling, dedication, love for the source material and high production values that makes it top-tier, right up there with "Arcane" and "The Last of Us". ๐

Your rollercoaster has merely left the station, you're still being drawn uphill. I can't tell you how happy I am that you're finally watching this. This show is so great in every possible way. ๐ Little (spoiler-free) notes: - Let go of typical narratives with entirely good or entirely bad people. Here you have no black or white, here you just have lots of grey (just like in real life). Everyone has very good reasons for the decisions they're making (from their pov) and every single one of them has consequences. - Yes it was Vander at the bridge and he took the girls in after he realized that they had just lost their parents. ๐จ - Yes, the two girls are sisters and I love them so much too...๐ - Powder didn't know that the blue crystal caused the explosion, she had already turned around and was running when the last crystal fell out of her pocket. - Pay close attention the little details. (The cupcakes for instant ๐๐) Nothing in this show is random or a time-filler, every little thing you see or hear has it's meaning. It foreshadows something or gives you context to the story or tells you something about the characters and/or the world they live in. ๐ง๐ - The writers are telling their story without any unnecessary dialogue, when ever it is possible. Here indeed a view says more than a thousand words. Just look at the intro scene, where you can see a whole dialogue between Vander and the kids without any spoken word... ๐๐คฉ - The break-in was such a great way to introduce the characters, you learn so much about them in these few minutes. - The two cities are called "Piltover" (topside) and the "Undercity" (bottom), the upper parts of the Undercity are called "The Lanes", while the deeper parts are called "The Trenches". (e.g.: "Some trencher trash attacked...") - Last but not least try to watch it on the biggest screen you have access to, so you don't miss all the little things...๐ Can't wait to see your next reaction, til then...๐๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
