You shouldn't mess around with some people businesses, specially David's. The man has a lot of power in his city and usually uses it at his advantage. The majority of people working under David, in his office or political campaigns, are shrunken down to "save on space", which mostly created a size hierarchy in his company.
For example, one of David's accountant commited fraud one time, shifting the numbers to his benefit. When David found out, he let his bodyguard take care of it for him, punishing the small man. He did let him plead his case, but David's mind was already set up to the punishment. After it, he would surely stay shrunk and David would dispose of him to be sure it wouldn't happen again.
