Dead Mall Plants & Floppy Disk Photography
Added 2022-01-08 07:05:18 +0000 UTCHere's my latest video. I've been wanting to try growing my own mall plant from a dead mall for a while and finally had a good opportunity to try it. I made a visit to Power Square Mall a day or 2 (I can't remember exactly) before it closed permanently. I was able to grab some clippings from one of the plants there. I've always loved the plants at Power Square Mall. While I was there I also took a lot of pictures including several with my floppy disk camera. I think the pictures from the floppy disk camera look neat. In this video we take a look at what I saw through the lens of that camera and also get my mall plant into a proper home. In the next video we'll be taking a trip to an awesome mall with great food and lots of interesting things to look at.
Also, sorry for the delay in videos. I'm getting over a horrible sinus/ear infection thing that delayed work on videos. It's not coronavirus, I've tested negative several times. It was making my voice sound terrible and weird during the worst of it. I'm feeling much better now but my voice is still a little stuffy sounding. I'm sure you'll notice in this video. I'm pretty sure my voice will be back to normal soon. Thanks everyone!

Wow, you can really see how far the digital photography has come. In high school we had a slightly smaller version of that Sony floppy disc camera. It was such a big deal when you got to use that instead of one of the basic 35mm film cameras we tried to allow anyone on staff to use if they were up for it.

I inadvertently produced a similar result at my 40th birthday party, where my mom insisted on getting a handful of disposable film cameras for everyone to use. The photos we got back looked like the ones from my 21st!
