Detective Conan Ep54 Reaction

While there, Conan runs into a man who uses the alias Tequila and learns that he plans to meet with Gin and Vodka. Conan follows Tequila to the bathroom where an explosion occurs and kills the man. Conan investigates the explosion and realizes that it was a murder attempt but the wrong person was killed.

For how Conan knows the names of the "men in black". The anime messes up some of the earlier cases in the manga. Mainly episodes 5 and 13. The reason they are messed up is because they thought the show would only last one season, (ironic since it is still going on now). In episode 5 where he meets a fake version of the men in black in the manga they are the real duo where they mention their names are Gin and Vodka. so that is how he knows. People who only watched the anime just randomly see Conan knows their names out of nowhere. As for ep 13 the ending was changed from the manga but this will be resolved in a later episode. Also to clear up Tequila is the one who is dead and Conan did not recognize him since he has only met Gin and Vodka. A Youtube comment mentioned this, but it makes sense that you would forget in that time.
