Enjoying making these marker sketches! I tried something different with this one and inked it with brush vs. with a pen. I like the brush outcome much more. the variety in line weight gives it a charm the others were lacking, I think. And bless my scanner for not letting me down and scanning these colors so wonderfully.

I'm growing more and more confident in working this way, and it's a good stress reliever during the day! I ink at night, then color during the day when I can snatch a few minutes (usually when baby sleeps), and it takes a lot shorter to have an end product than, say, digital illustration or painting... though I refuse to give up on learning how to properly use watercolors. Some day, someday. My main goal right now though has been to give my immense hoard of art supplies some use, because it depresses me to see it all sit there collecting dust. So far, so good!
