2021-02-07 15:57:51 +0000 UTCI remembered I'm a patron so I thought I'd drop in and say this is one of my favourite episodes of Map Men. I'm big on historical stuff like this, and it's stayed with me since I now hear a place name and think "Hm I wonder what the root of that name is". Like Ullapool and Liverpool, they're quite far away and in areas I assume have different cultural influences, so do their names have the same root or not? I haven't bothered to find out yet, but it was a fun thought. Equally fun is applying it to where I live. Even though I could have guessed that a placename in London has Anglo-Saxon roots, it still connects me more to it to see it laid out on a screen like that. Looking forward to the rest of the series :)

After "Buckaroo" you must also toss your hat upwards, though you are allowed to change the inflection by instead tossing your hat to the ground directly beneath you and hopping up and down on it.
