Watch the new episode of Unfinished London!

Hello.

Well, I’ve rattled on long enough, but before I go, here it is… fresh out of the oven, part 2 of the Bridges trilogy in the latest batch of Unfinished Londons. And this one’s all about everyone’s favourite most frequently misnamed bridge in London - Tower Bridge!

We’ve gone properly overboard with the cameos this time, and squeezed in probably a bit too many. But every one of them is someone who makes stuff I really like, and I’m so glad they all said yes! They all did masterful performances too, so do enjoy those!

As usual, you’re seeing this more than 24 hours earlier than the rest of the internet because I like you all so very much! And also as usual, you are more than welcome to please be as eagle-eyed and eagle-eared as you like and spot any mistakes that I’ve almost definitely made in this video, like spelling errors, graphics glitches, sound baddisms, musical wrongs and factual inaccuracies. Pretty much every time, one of you heroes ends up saving the video, and on more than one occasion, one of you has even suggested an extra gag that I’ve liked enough to throw in at the last minute. So, go nuts!

Oh and thanks so much for all your really help with the video title in the previous post. I ended up going with something that wasn’t on the list, but it was inspired by your comments and advice, so enormous thanks for that!

Also, do please, obvs, keep this video and any details about it super super secret until Monday. This is just for you because you’re special.

Thank you so so so so so very much for your patreonage! It’s literally because of literally you that these videos are possible.

See you again next month for the third and final instalment in the bridges trilogy!

Stay safe out there!

Jay

I use an ad-blocker on YouTube, and while I appreciate the work you put into making your end-of-video ads funny, I'm never interested in clicking on any of the affiliate links. Hooray for Patreon so I can just support you directly!

So good!

You’re my fave YouTuber.

When my mum heard me laughing at this she had to come into my room to ask if I'd hurt myself. And that was just he ad.

I have a tiny comment from a geologists point of view, which is probably impossible to fix but is also not really important. So I'll just leave it here as a nerd comment: clay in itself isn't a problematic tunneling material, but an unexpected change from clay to sand(mixtures) is. Clay is impermeable to water, it just gets slippery when wet. Sand on the other hand is a nice pathway for water, and it's also a lot less stable in itself compared to clay.

It speaks volumes that it took you so many episodes to get to the one thing about London everybody known :-D

Hi Craig. The three heads are Olivia Newton John, Wolf from Gladiators and Barry Chuckle. They’re references that Brits my age will certainly get. And yes, Tom Scott did create the titles graphics for me, way back in 2009.

5:28: I would request that there's a credit for the triple-headed figure, naming the heads. The left is, I think, Olivia Newton John as "John", but I don't know the faces of the other two. Thanks! And is your title sequence still the one created by Tom Scott? I thought I remembered seeing that in credits many many years ago.

So many cameos! Already looking forward to the next part.

Sentient Meatbag

Seeing Mr Finnemore in any visual content, I feel obliged to check for hidden lemons in the background. But that would probably have been just a bit too niche in this context

Jo Lee

A very unexpected cameo of Alan Melikdjanian a.k.a. Captain Disillusion as Frederic Barnett.
