Here it is! The third and final instalment in the trilogy about crossings over (and under) the river Thames. Hope you like it!
Sorry it’s a bit (a lot) late! I promise you I’ve got a really brilliant excuse… I’ll tell you all about it in a couple of months.
Incidentally, this trilogy was originally going to be one enormous video, but I think chopping it into three parts like a cucumber was the right thing to do, cos it allowed us to go into an extraordinary amount of extra detail that would otherwise have made the episode fall over. And it really shows in part 3! It’s the longest Unfinished London ever (so far), and covers a broad range of topics, from the past, to the present, to a thousand years in the future.
What I’d really love to do is personally thank every single one of you who supports me here on Patreon by coming to your houses and ringing on the doorbell and shouting “thank you!” as soon as you open the door. But some of you live really far away so that’s probably not feasible, and the next best thing I can do is express here in this post as sincerely as I can how lusciously grateful I am to every single one of you for your continued support!
Please don’t share this video with anyone who’s not in our secret special club, they’ll get to watch it on Monday, and also, as has become tradition on this channel, please do let me know if you spot any howling mistakes that can or should be corrected before then.
Work has already begun on episode 14 of Unfinished London, which should come bouncing onto your browser later this Summer. More on that later!
In the meantime, enjoy the lovely weather (if you live somewhere with lovely weather), enjoy the episode, and I’ll see you all really soon! Bye now!
