Aaaaah, had you going for a bit, didn’t I?

Don’t worry. Map Men isn’t finishing any time soon. We’ll keep making Map Men forever until one of us dies. (At least, I think that’s the plan. If I die, Mark might find someone else and replace me? I don’t know - we’ve never discussed it.)

Anyway, in the meantime, here is the final instalment from this particular batch (filmed more than a year ago - written nearly two years ago! Blame our babies.)

This one is all about the fascinating and infuriating topic of gerrymandering - the art of drawing bonkers squiggly maps in order to win elections. And you get to watch before the rest of the internet, because I like you so much.

I really am incredibly grateful! Thank you, all of you, so so so SO much for your continued support!

By the way, our original idea was to make this about gerrymandering all over the world, but it became clear while we were doing our research that gerrymandering, just like cheering loudly and being next to Canada, is something that Americans really are the world’s best at.

And so, here comes the most US-centric episode we’ve ever done! Which probably means we’re more likely to make mistakes that lots of people would spot that we wouldn’t spot than ever before.
