Yes, Ryan! I agree ๐ฏ. Before season 8 I think GOT was technically a better show, but I wasn't nearly as connected to the characters. TWD is family. GOT biggest problem was running out of source material, like you said. D & D should not have been trusted to wrap it up. Not only did they throw away years of character development but also golden opportunities. When I first saw the Children create the Night King I actually felt bad for him. And I thought, maybe we'll get some back story on his experiences, help the audience to understand him more. Nope. Nothing. Having a baddie basically be a Terminator is fine but then why show us that? And then ROB us of the satisfaction of having the final battle between the character you've been building up for seasons (Jon Snow) as the one to take him down?!? TWD has many issues, of course, but they seem to try to listen to the fans, and are always trying to be better. Great stuff, Ryan! ๐ง๐ค
