I'm sorry. I couldn't wait until next month's update to share this.

I just put this together. Thinking about it, confessing being in love with your best friend is a nerve-wracking moment. It can make or break your relationship and completely alter the trajectory of your life depending on if they reciprocate or not.

So I made it a Life Moment. Now, when Sims confess their love for the best friend, an audio sting will play, you'll get the notification, and their icon will light up as if they were proposing or having a baby.

I think this goes a long way in making it more immersive and making it seem like the big deal that it is.

Other interactions that I'm working on:

Argue about Fame Affecting Relationship: hopefully I'll come up with a better name for this, but if one Sim is famous and the other is not, the nonfamous Sim can accuse the other of letting their fame get in the way of their relationship.
Vent about Current Relationship: this one works as intended. I mentioned it in the last update.

On the dark addon I mentioned: I have to fix it up. One of the interactions is causing a Last Exception and making the Sims reset. But it will be coming out!
