Hey Guys, I just wanted to thank you all for your contributions. I know some of you have up'ed your donation amounts recently and some others have come back to being patrons again. I wanted to let you guys know that I plan on leaving my job in July. Things have become pretty terrible there. My husband has been able to find work again and loves his new job, so he'll be able to support us while I shift into doing artwork full-time. I may leave earlier, but that depends on whether or not I've accurately judged the length of the fuse that is quickly burning away towards the keg of dynamite at the end. I'm not sure what will happen with the Marvel thing. I'm still being coached by them and they seem interested in working with me and putting forth the effort to get me to a point where they can use me in the future. I'll keep you posted on that. I'll also post on Patreon progress images for the script they sent me and general information on what they said I should do differently, so by proxy, you guys will be getting a little coaching too. There isn't any problem with privacy as it's for a chapter that's already been published. Once I get done with my current commissions, I'm going to dive into my own personal comic. I'm going to make it a web comic and hope to post updates twice a week. I'm looking into possibly posting on Webtoons.com, but I'm hesitant to do so as I've heard some concerning stories. I'm also chatting with a comic writer and sponging up as much as I can in terms of working on my own comic in hopes of it being a great story. When this new comic gets rolling, I'll post the new page here first, then on it's devoted site a day or two later. So you guys will get early access. I will also post roughs, character sketches/concepts here too. You guys will get to see all that juicy WIP stuff. :) I also wanted to say that whenever you guys want to commission me, then you're welcome to do so at any time with the set pricing on my DeviantArt page, and not have to wait for me to "open" my status. Otherwise, my commissions are $20 an hour (probably will go up once I'm full-time) for non-patrons. If you want anything more than what's listed on my DA's pricing sheet, then we'll have to go to the $20 an hour thing. Just be sure to email me at leeanne@lkrecic.com and include your name/info so I can verify you're a patron. I plan on doing a new tutorial video this week. In this video, I'll share advice and pointers on being a commissioned artist, which will hopefully be helpful for those of you who are thinking about starting to do paid work. :3 Thanks again, guys! o/
