Sorry for the lack of content here. I'm just bad at keeping up and learned stuff here and there to create something.
Well, that something should happen soon!
Currently I'm working on a game with a twist.
The game itself is pretty simple and a variant of the "frozen lake" game.
You play it on a grid and have to reach a point, but on the way are holes in the lake, which let you fall into water and make you begin anew.
It is pretty simple and that's intended, as I am planning to break most game play conventions.
First of all, you don't see the board's content. You run it entirely blind. The only thing you see is your current position.
Also things change, each time you start the game and the board is too big to reliably remember where things are.
So how are you supposed to play the game? Well, you get a companion. A very special one.
What you get is a synthetic agent as a companion, with whom you are going to solve it. The thing is, that you will see exactly what an AI (or synth agent) would see, when playing the game.
Thus, with the help of your synthetic friend, you are more able to solve it, but don't expect it to be easy.
The idea behind, is to teach people especially what AI see when they play these games and how they make decisions.
I am not sure when I will release it, but I plan on doing so this month.
First it will be a text interface, but there will be a fully graphical coming after.
