Help with a decision & background updates

Hey folks!

No art right now, but some serious question.

First a few infos though:
I do love platformers. I loved them as a kid (when I played Sonic the Hedgehog and Astreix & The Secret Mission on my SMS II) and I do love them still.

Most of the games I played in my live are 90s platformers and strategy games (though, back then I played them more like city building games).

The game, "Glitch", I am working on right now, is a match 3 puzzler, which is based on Columns (for the Sega Master System, played it on the II version) and I wanted to create something like that too.

Arcade games are easier and thus I'm going with them mostly, but...

Platformers are my passion and I would just love to make one.

The thing is though, I would have pause working on Glitch and thus new games would be delayed.

I am also working on a library, that reads in tile map data and helps with game rendering and such, I call it "Moo Engine" and it's supposed to be a game engine for 4:3 pixely games.

Right now I am working on that and feel that a platformer would be more fitting, but also not sure.

Usually it is best to work on one thing for me and finish it, before I go to the next. Otherwise the chance that I abandon an idea is very high.

So that's why I attach a poll. What do you think?

Shall I make a platformer, I have a rough idea for, and make the game I love. Which might mean that Glitch will never happen and I'd find that sad.

Or shall I continue with Glitch and do the platformer later?

I can also try to work at both at the same time. Which might be good to switch around if I am stuck with one, but not very sure there.

Anyway, please take part in this poll <3

Generally I think it'd be better to continue with Glitch, though there isn't anything wrong with doing a break thing here and there. I feel that moo is still learning when it comes to what to do and how and it could be beneficial to develop that concept and moo engine more before moving on to greener pastures. Then again I don't want to say completely no either, but moo has passion for them both and I'd hate to see that passion go to waste.
