Dungeon TF Character select poll

There are a few things to consider, but I'd have to make decisions there on game progress, as it's a matter of artwork I need to create.
But! One thing I'd like you to decide already. I was thinking of two options for new characters being unlocked.
One being all main characters (3 classes, warrior, rogue and mage) being unlocked from the start. Then you can unlock further characters, through beating the game. Those will be monster related.
Another idea is to start with only 1 character (warrior) and you unlock the other 2 main characters through gameplay (can be, reach level X or beat boss Y or something else).
I'd like your input on this. Further details will be fleshed out, further down the line.
Benefits of each are as follows:
Having all 3 unlocked at once, gives variety and let's you play around with different styles early on.
Having them unlocked, gives incentive to play one style first, then have the others as rewards. Though you will get different gameplay styles and objectives with other characters regardless.
