Crysalis Progress Report (2023-07-27)

not much to report today, I'd say. Had some work days taken out due to other stuff and doing mostly art stuff right now, which is usually slower.
What am I working on?
Sprites for all forest critters, as well as their attacks, so I can implement them.
Once these are done, putting them into the game will be pretty quick. Then it's all about fleshing out the actual combat system with actual enemies.
This will also progress the story for the first area. Though, I am not sure if it will be the first area in the game, but it will be the first playable one.
Just, some enemies have abilities, I'd like later in the game, so the forest might become area 4 or 5, in the final game.
Luckily, those areas are sort of planned as self-contained stories, so I can move them around with relative ease.
Also as a heads up, I might take some days, next week, to work on commissions, I still own (prioritized game dev a lot), so next week might not be much again, but we will see! I am working hard on getting the alpha release out and a demo!
