Located along the caravan route leading to the free city of Rasul sits the humble riad of Amir Ibn Raheem Al-Hadir. He is known locally as a simple trader of figs and dates; yet in the wind-swept desert, he is known by other names… the Bandit King… the Desert Hawk… Maurice. In recent years, many a caravan have gone missing, wealthy patrons have been kidnapped, and untold riches have disappeared in the shifting sands of the Il Jabir desert.
