The brothers Balefire have recently acquired a sizeable house in the capital city. Much speculation surrounds the brothers and the source of their fortune. Randolph, an alchemist, recently developed a cure for the latest disease to plague the pleasure district, while Mortimer, a necromancer, was instrumental in turning back an undead uprising in the royal catacombs. That the brothers are rumored to have been the cause of both the disease and the uprising are no doubt started by their jealous competitors. And then there is their “adopted” sister Nessa, the half-demon summoner and plane shifter, who opened portal into the house and arrived covered in blood… though not her own blood… Since she has taken up residence in the house, demon sightings have increased significantly. What other secrets might be found in the Balefire’s house? Come visit a house most curious.
