Hey everyone!

Got a guest with me this week, my buddy Eddie was in town and he had a couple of edits that weren't quite hitting the mark so we decided to film us fixing one up so its ready for live play! I show you a couple little tips to make sure its nice n loud and hitting the right spots as well as a general thought process throughout.

Hope this little walkthrough comes in handy for you guys.

JP can you please do a Q & A with your manager Pat - What do managers look for, whats the best way to get their attention, How do you know if a manager is right for you etc. I would love you to pick his brain regarding the managing side of the industry. Thank you very much and you have FANTASTIC content mate! Big fan of your kindness and your art :))

melodic music is an exception here yeah. its often due to the sub not being as dominant and taking up that space even though its still super loud overall. the sub is the biggest waveform so its gonna cause that sausage

Question - I've noticed with our music and just melodic bass in general, I can get it pretty loud and sausaged - usually hitting like -4 or -5rms but its never quite that full bricked looking waveforms that i see from bass music. Is that due to a limiter vs just a clipper on the master?
