If you ever rewatch this episode, try to focus on Monica/Geraldine's temp story about her boss having hiccups is pretty funny.

That's true. It would be too simple if it were just a fantasy world created by Wanda. I love that I don't know what's going on.

It frightens me too. It would be simple if this was just a created fantasy world that will wink out entirely someday, but it feels more than that. I don’t think I’m done being surprised by this show.

This kind of frightens me.

Wow, wow, wow. I did not even consider this. I wasn't even thinking about this. I have been assuming the entire time that Wanda has recreated Vision and has placed him in her fantasy world. It never crossed my mind that Vision was not just simply a construct of Wanda's imaginary world - the perfect world she imagines and wants to be in, with Vision.

The question I have few answers for is: Who is Vision? He’s supposed to be dead, but here he is. He may be just a construct of Wanda’s imagination, but I somehow doubt that. His thoughts and actions seems completely out of Wanda’s control, hence her need to break reality to keep him in the dark. Plus, Vision seems to have all of his superpowers. I know Wanda is one of the most powerful superheroes in the entire MCU, but can even she replicate someone who is also one of the most powerful beings in the world? It doesn’t add up in my opinion.

Aaaahhhhh, that's right!! Okay, now THAT makes a lot of sense 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

In the MCU, S.H.I.E.L.D and S.W.O.R.D. have basically the same mission: deal with super human threats to humanity. Shield usually deals with terrestrial threats and Sword deals with extraterrestrial threats. Not sure why Sword has point on his one, but it’s their job to deal with out of control superhumans. Wanda has essentially taken an entire town hostage and it’s their job to eliminate the threat. It may turn out that Wanda is being controlled herself by outside forces, but I don’t think there is enough to tell yet

Okay, got it about Wanda and the mind control. However, why does Sword want to infiltrate the town?

Here’s my theory. Wanda is in grief over Vision’s death. In her grief, she took over the small town of Westview to create an idyllic place for her to live out a quiet life with Vision. She’s used her mind altering powers to force the real residents of Westview to be supporting characters in this fantasy (with varying levels of success). However, the only person she really wants to keep totally convinced is Vision. The only time Wanda ever uses reality breaking powers is when Vision starts to figure it out. I think Geraldine was sent in by Sword to infiltrate the town, but fell victim to Wanda’s mind control. Remember in episode 2, Wanda asked Geraldine her name and Geraldine couldn’t remember it at first. Then in episode 3, Wanda asked her how she knew Ultron killed her brother. Geraldine honestly answered “I don’t know.”

My 2 cents... It appears as though some outside military-style organization is at least keeping tabs on what's happening in WandaVision, and maybe influencing it. However, some clues seem to hint this may be a form of escapist, lucid dream for Wanda. This episode's commercial reminds me of the vintage Calgon "take me away" commercials and the Monkees 'Daydream Believer' song that Patrick mentioned.
Clearly Wanda's conversation and reaction with Geraldine when Ultron is mentioned is significant. Then her explanation to Vision that Geraldine just suddenly went home comes across as odd, to me at least, as if Wanda maybe had something to do with sending Geraldine from this world. Or perhaps outside observers "rewound" her story so Wanda really believes Geraldine just went home. Does the explanation sound odd to Vision since he was just told by the neighbors that Geraldine has no home there? That could be a stretch. I don't know what's actually happening, but it'll be fun finding out!

Daydream Believer, that's what Wanda is but her daydreams are reality. I'm still confused as to what's going on though. The neighbors seem to know what's up and I'm guessing they're part of this SWORD group, but the Strucker/Hydra commercials and the voice on the radio asking "who's doing this to you" have me wondering how much of this was initiated by Wanda, how it all started. Super intrigued though!!
Thanks for the reaction! I bet this whole series will be worth a rewatch to see how everything fit together. The big question: when you get upset, would you rather blackout the whole neighborhood or start levitating?

Geraldine’s necklace wasn’t an upside down cross. It was a sword. You may have figured that out after your comment, but if my theory is correct it may be an important detail

I'm not sure if Wanda is creating this as the American television shows wouldn't be familiar to her. It's interesting that her Sokovian accent is gone for this, but the pronunciation of "Pietro" as well as the lullaby are very interesting.
My theory is that this is something that has been created to try to contain Wanda's grief. Scarlet Witch, in theory, is powerful enough to destroy the cosmos. If her emotions are causing her powers to spiral out of control, well, that would be bad. What IS obvious is that she can alter Vision's place in this reality, so I am thinking that he is her construct, but that some outside force is creating the rest.
Of course, I could be completely wrong!

I love that this is such a challenging show. There are SO many clues. But the commercials are what have me most curious! It's a great puzzle. LOVING this so much and I'm as in the dark as you, Kazzy!

I put The Mandalorian right up there with Rogue One. Spectacularly filmed and wonderfully written.
