I think language is a great example of shared delusions that grow and evolve, and divide; dialects start as a wrong way of saying something, until they eventually turn into the 'correct' way to say something among a certain group. Surreal/meme speak is totally incorrect according to all previous ideals, but it's prevalent, even at my work.
