A small update on development
Added 2019-10-05 07:28:42 +0000 UTCNo game update yet, but some details on what I have been working on.
Since the public release of FoE last month, I've been squashing bugs as they are reported. Furthermore, I've made more improvements on the code structure and the systems behind the scenes, the majority of that work going into implementing a new and more powerful parser that should improve productivity and reduce the time from writing content to code.
Finally, I've started writing new content, through progress has been rather slow for various reasons. Mainly, these new scenes will remove ugly placeholders. Since I'm expanding on content that I haven't worked on in ages, I want to take the extra time to not make the new content jarring (requiring me to go over old notes and already implemented content to watch for inconsistencies).
I'm afraid things will continue to be slow for a while due to the workload of my IRL work increasing. To combat that, I'm trying to work smarter rather than more.
Sorry for the delays. Expect a public release in another 2 weeks or so.
