Patreon Updates

You may have noticed by now that we've made some updates to the Patreon page. Not much has actually changed yet aside from formatting, but I wanted to fill you in on more changes that we'll be making soon. First and foremost, nothing in the current reward tiers will be removed. Rather, we will be adding rewards to each tier, and potentially additional tiers as well.
The reason for this is that we've decided to use Patreon to raise money for the sequel to The Guards Themselves rather than a one-time fundraising platform like IndieGoGo or Kickstarter. We think that setting a timeline for the film's production and using Patreon as a month-to-month support system will help donors feel more involved in the process and will insure that you will get several of your rewards right away rather than waiting for the project to be completed. This will be a bit of experiment, and if it goes well, we may continue with this project model in the future.
As a result, you'll see this page change to resemble something more like a Kickstarter page in the coming weeks before we finally make a full video announcement for this project. We will be introducing several goals in the panel to the left, and for each one that we hit, we will be able to include a new element of the film or improve an existing one. We will also be introducing temporary TGT-related rewards for those who donate during the production period of this project. Once the project is over, the page will revert back into a standard page for the Door Monster channel until our next one.
