In 2020 alone, a total of 227 people fighting against environmental degradation and climate change were killed. We live in a system that always has - and always will - put profits over human lives. I was very surprised when AOC said that they build natural gas powerplants within city limits in marginalized neighborhoods.

We have only one world. If it goes up in flames we will all be affected even if we are not 'all in this together'.
