The Russia/Ukraine Conflict: What Is Putin Thinking?

Howdy, comrades! Few things recently have captured the world's attention like the conflict in Ukraine. It's certainly big news, but why is it happening? Is Putin really crazy like much of the media seems to suggest? In this episode, we take a look at the conflict from I angle I haven't really seen get much attention. I hope you enjoy!

The Russia/Ukraine Conflict: What Is Putin Thinking?

Very interesting...

I don't think Putin is crazy. I think when the US encouraged Ukraine to join NATO it put the US right up on the Russian border, making us an imminent threat to Russia. The Cuban Millile Crisis was a similar event. When Russia was bringing their missiles to Cuba, Kennedy told them to turn their ships around or we would sink them because Russian missiles that were close to the US were seen as an imminent threat. Russia turned their ships around, but only because there was Russia and the US reached a compromise. That compromise was the US had to re3move our missiles from Turkey, as they posed an imminent threat to Russia. Putin feels trapped. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I have to wonder if this was not the plan all along. Our government has been irresponsible and we are in debt. We have seen a huge decline in our elected officials supporting the people and a massive increase in the wealth and class equality gap. I think the actions of our government have caused problems we have yet to witness. War creates revenue. WWII brought this country out of the Great Depression. Could this be the government desperately trying to dig their way out of the hole they have dug for this country? One has to wonder.
