2023-06-22 09:42:52 +0000 UTC(continued from above) Your stock footage of the ocean is showing water with the very least energy potential. It has nowhere lower to go. Wave and tide energy is extremely diffuse and difficult to harvest. Water at high elevation has a lot of potential energy, but is very scarce compared to the demands put on it by our exponential growth. I think this is the primary reason fossil fuels became prevalent. If I am wrong, and I may well be, maybe you could insert an explanation for why this is not so, and it is the exploitation hypothesis which is correct.
