They're fantastic, and as a European who can see that we're emulating the 1930s far too much for comfort I think the content you make is invaluable. I also have a five month old and I want him to grow up in a world very different to the one we're currently creating. But even here the neoliberals are draining the system and the capitalism is woven into our political system. Our representatives are liberals and buy into the liberals discussions on why we have the need for wars and the class difference of employers and employees. The next revolution I would like to see, is the power of a socialist humanism and the fair trade and sharing of the worlds resources.

Or if conversation turns to a political current event they don't seem nervous hearing a socialist perspective. And since we're all different types of medical scientists in the US, we all despise private insurance companies, so that's where speak more plainly against capitalism.

It’s the least we converts can do to lend this kind of assistance when JT makes an honest request for emergency aid the way he did recently. Thanks JT. And thanks everyone for joining me in answering his call for help. You’re all incredibly important to the revolution or the evolution to rid ourselves of the oligarchy and what I call the “aristocratic impulse”; the emotional reaction we are taught to have to identify with the rich ruling class, to tell all our stories from their point view, to reflexively agree with their rhetoric about their “natural right” to rule and to deserve an outsize share of the material and cultural benefits of society, and to identify the “good of the state” with the “good of the wealthy ruling class”. It’s a powerful impulse that predates even capitalism, but one that capitalism has co-opted and enhanced for the benefit of the neoliberal capitalist ruling oligarchy and its rentier-like relationship its establishing over those parts of society (like accessing the economy) that aren’t assets that can be owned … something the top 2% are well on their way to monopolizing now. In this age of dispossession of the middle class and rising divisive “culture war” identity politics replacing old-school leftist economic class consciousness, it’s so important to re-establish the kind of broad wage-earning working-class class consciousness that materialists and Marxist analytical socialists like JT encourage.
