It seems like the situation with itch.io is still complicated. The creator of the platform is also upset about what's happening and is doing what he can to minimize the damage, but it looks like a big change is coming.
As for me, I'm still working on my games, but these days I can't stop thinking about Love's Heart.
On one hand, it’s not really worth it for me to keep working on it, because without being able to promote it on Steam or itch.io, its visibility would be very low and it wouldn’t bring in new players or any money.
On the other hand, it’s honestly the most well-known game I have. Without it, my visibility and both moral and financial support would probably drop a lot anyway — so maybe I should make the effort to continue it, even while I’m also working on the remake.
I’d love to hear your honest opinion on this.
