2025-09-21 18:47:12 +0000 UTCSeason 1 was absolutely fantastic, like honestly they blew my expectations away with just how good the remake has been, Season 2 starts October 4th, so we'll be able to continue with the series without issue. The trailer they released recently looked really good as well, it looks like the animation might be even better then the first season. It's genuinely one of the series I'm most looking forward to seeing soon. I keep saying it as well, but Ranma and Akane's relationship feels so much better in the remake, they have better chemistry and it doesn't feel abusive at times like the first anime, it's a proper adaptation of the manga this time, basically every scene in the remake has been a near 1 to 1 adaptation of the manga now, nothings cut, there's no dumb filler because the people adapting it thought they were better writers this time. It's just a faithful adaptation from people who love the series, you can even directly compare scenes from it to panels from the manga and they're near identical. It just shows if you do a proper direct adaptation of a series people will love it.
