Usually assholes that angry are trying to compensate for something else. π He thinks his money makes him invincible, but I'm sure he'll find out soon enough. The mother clearly is also clueless. When telling an abuser to stop abusing, they get WORSE. I see what she was trying to do, but simply saying not to hurt her daughter again is not enough (or safe) in this type of situation. She needs to help her get OUT, even if that affects them financially for a while. At least her daughter will be alive and well. Telling Sophia to not get on his nerves is for nought too...even on her best behavior, an abuser will always find something to get angry about. She wants so bad to live vicariously through her daughter's husband's wealth, and reap the benefits, that she's causing her more harm by having her stay there. My Aunt was a battered woman, and it got so bad, she was beat up, and thrown out in the middle of winter at night without shoes, with her 3 month old baby. π₯Ί
