X1 SteinWipe Is Almost Ready! Try This Demo! (Early Tier 2+ access)
Added 2025-01-12 21:49:17 +0000 UTCAttention Tier 2+ users, as a perk of being an Innovator’s Support tier, you get first crack at this release! Thank you all for being so patient while I work on getting SteinWipe 100%. I've gotten so much feedback on the project and that developed into a very long wish list to tackle; SteinWipe has become so much more than just a nozzle wiper. There is virtually no code on the X1C that will go un-touched when the project is completed. So many Improvements have been made already!
Im happy to announce the project is in the final evolution!
Updates from here forward will be as simple as dropping the supplied 3MF file on your slicer and everything will be automatically set! If you like the profile, you can simply save it to your account and use it any time!

There are many improvements already made to the flow of the X1 startup and more to come. Lidar and scanning features have now been integrated but not only that, I have corrected things like the camera scanning empty paths if the calibration was unchecked in the slicer. Also tons of improvements to travel paths to avoid stringing - including improved first layer scanning.
NO MORE BOOMERANG! The new pressure advance test line also now reflects what is stored in the AMS PA profiles and is where it should be: at the bottom of the plate! For those using Glacier plates, a SteinSwitch converts the test line shape and moves it to the cut zone so its not in your print volume.
So, many many details to go over and detailed documentation and videos will be coming soon as the code gets tweaked!

Thanks, definitely no hurry. It was more of a heads up message. Burning the candle on both ends is catching up.

2025-01-13 12:16:00 +0000 UTCSeems a few have gotten it to work but there are a few issues. For some reason the printer models of the bed and wiper are not importing. Ill play around with it some more. Im not feeling very well, definitely coming down with something; I slept the afternoon and heading back to bed now. Ill do some troubleshooting tomorrow since Im going to stay home from work and let you know what I find out.

2025-01-13 03:31:28 +0000 UTCnot sure if others are able to use this, it doesn't seem to send to the printer and I tried to send it to the sd card and get an error code 0?
