*EARLY ACCESS* Code Geass: Season 1 Episodes 1, 2 and 3 Reaction

LELOUCH GAINS A NEW POWER, THE KNIGHTMARES ATTACK AND LELOUCH KILLS CLOVIS! In the Year 2010, the Britannia Empire invades Japan and strips it of its power and status now referring to the Japanese people as the Elevens and renaming Japan as Area 11. Several years after the bloody war, Lelouch holds a new identity and is a student at Ashford Academy who gets trapped inside an anti-Government truck. The rebels inside the truck are Elevens fleeing from the Britannian military because they stole the supposed poison gas from them. During the pursuit, Lelouch reunites with his childhood friend Suzaku but is shocked to find out that he joined the Britannian military. The poison gas' container however does not reveal an actual weapon but a green haired girl which shocks everyone including the Britannian military. Due to this top-secret information, a Britannian military officer orders Suzaku to shoot Lelouch as he is accused of stealing and exposing the truth about the poison gas. Suzaku however, refuses to shoot his friend and is shot himself instead by the officer. Lelouch is horrified and then enraged even more after the girl saves him from getting shot again only to get shot herself. Lelouch then desires complete vengeance against the Britannians and the girl in her dying last words grants Lelouch the power of Geass which will allow him to control other people's minds. Using this new power, Lelouch orders the Britannian military in front of him to shoot themselves in the head.

Then, Villetta Nu questions Lelouch about the dead soldiers only for Lelouch to make her ignore what happened and give him her Knightmare Frame, a giant mechanical robot. Using the Knightmare, Lelouch helps a rebel group against the Britannian army whilst Suzaku is ordered to use the Lancelot, the most powerful Knightmare against this rebel group. Lelouch especially helps a rebel called Karen and her Knightmare Glasgow however, his attempts at helping do not last long as Lancelot proves to be too powerful. Lancelot therefore, defeats the rebel group and Lelouch manages to gain access personally to Prince Clovis. Lelouch holds Clovis at gunpoint interrogating him about whether he was the one who killed his mother. Clovis confesses that it wasn't him but Lelouch shoots him in the head anyway. Despite the prince's death, the news is not shared to the public straight away. Lelouch returns to Ashford Academy and is shocked to find the girl Karen as a new classmate who is going undercover as one of the rich girls. Although, because he does not want to reveal his identity to her, he pretends to not know her. Lelouch later decides to confront her about who she really is to which she reveals that she's half Britannian and half Eleven but manages to resist Lelouch's other orders. Lelouch laters figures out that he can only use his mind controlling power once per person and is confronted by Karen when she is in the middle of having a shower. Karen suspects him of being the one who helped her in the fight but is fooled by a pre-recorded phone call made by him. Lelouch manages to still keep his true identity a secret and the Britannians finally reveal the news on TV of Clovis' death with Suzaku being suspected of killing him. The news footage showcases him getting arrested.

Comments

Thanks so much for the details. Ah my bad didn't realise they were bad subs, sorry about that. Yeah I got the part about him being part of nobility but he changed his identity right after the war? Since Clovis was happy to see him alive. Considering that Clovis was not the one who killed his mother, why did Lelouch kill him anyway? Just because he's a Britannian therefore must pay for what happened in the war? Or did I miss something? Regarding Lelouch and Light, yeah they're both driven by ego and are very smart in going against government rules although their motives (at least from what I've seen) are very different. Light wanted to be a God for the sake of getting a hold of the Death Note whereas, for Lelouch it's more about getting revenge on Britannia therefore, he has a better excuse really. Both are obviously in the wrong though but yeah I should have said anti-villain rather than anti-hero. I absolutely hated Light actually he became such a psychotic narcissist almost straight away and doesn't deserve any sympathy in my opinion.

Sherianna Reacts

Thanks for the great reaction as usual. Though i got to point out that whatever video or website you used was actually reallly really bad. The subs were off by quite alot and even the names of characters were mispelled. The world of Code Geass is actually similar to our world except the fact there is no America and the north american continent is home to the Britannian Empire. They are ruled by a Imperial Family and nobility. Lelouch is actually a Britannian prince so hes royalty in case you missed that. Clovis was his half brother. Also I noticed you pointed out racism when the scene with Nununally(wheelchair girl) called the maid japanese. There is racism in this show obviously but in that one scene nunnally called the maid "japanese" which was not said in disrespect but rather the opposite. The normal racist britannians called them elevens. I do agree many people compare lelouch and light alot and tbh i can see why they think so. Both are very clever and (you probably already know) have been given powers that can be easily misused or corrupted. Also they both have an arrogant attitude since theyre smarter than others. Light could be classified as an anti-villain not an anti-hero. He has heroic aspiration such as ridding crime but in not so desirable methods. Lelouch imo is very different than light and if you ever watch the show, even in your own time, you may see it too. But if you ever do pls change the video server lol its one of the worst translations ive seen so far. Also the swallow a thousand needles part was a joke lol another version of the famous saying "cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye" so no not literally.
