Romantic dinner

I was inspired by the story, when Jake invited Tom to dinner in a restaurant in Korea, and not just a restaurant, but the best restaurant in Seoul, Jake decided to ask a friend and the Oscar Winner director Bong Joon-ho for Tom, and he advised which restaurant is good. So Jake and Tom had dinner together that night. I think they had a romantic date. It's so sweet that Jake is courting Tom.

"I called him up (Bong Joon-ho) and asked if he would recommend a place to have dinner for me and Tom, and he did, he emailed me back and we had dinner there last night at the restaurant that he recommended."

They also like to reminisce about their first meeting at a Crossroad restaurant, Jake's love for Tom at first sight "like in the Titanic", they even chose the song "My Heart Will Go On" as the soundtrack of their lives.

Tom Holland: “We met at a restaurant.”

Jake Gyllenhaal: “It’s like the movie Titanic. That was what it was like when Jack and Rose meet.”

Tom Holland: “I was clearly Jack in that situation. You were Rose.”

Jake Gyllenhaal: “Obviously.”

When the question of the actors’ first meeting came up, Gyllenhaal immediately remembered the moment he first saw Holland in person.

“We were at a restaurant and I saw you from across the room and my heart just exploded,” he recalls, prompting Holland to reply, “Wow.”

“I remember walking up to you and I said to you, ‘I would love to work with you,'” Gyllenhaal adds. “I actually said that!” Looks like dreams do come true.

Q: Do you remember the day you first met?

Jake: Yeah. Should we say it? Or do we say: "Yes I remember."?

Jake to Tom: Where? Are you writing where?

Tom: Yes.

Jake: Are you saying the actual name of the place?

Tom: I am, yeah. I've already written mine. I will never forget this moment. So I've written down so quickly.

Jake: It's a funny story because I actually knew that this movie was being made, but no one had effered me rolling it, and I ran into Tom at a restaurant...

Tom: Yes.

Jake: Just the universe brought us together, we haven't met before, we meet for the first time. And I said to him: Man, I would really love to work with you. And then, strangely, just a few weeks later, they offered me the role in this movie and two months later we working together. In London. So, that's how it's happened.
