Bring back Becky. What is she doing now? Is her friend's other leg real smooth now? Are Becky's legs smooth? Does it make them aerodynamic? Are there things that can only be done once completely smooth? Things I need to know.

Here’s the thread I was looking for: https://twitter.com/nomedabarbarian/status/1346671946587545608?s=21

John Riecke

Three mummy girls compare tomb loot.

Doctor Mars

A 3 siren and a ghost band maybe? Or a changeling doubling as both a tailor and the model for said tailoring

What about a drider type creature?

MiniMareanie

A hydra with multiple heads and an issue with personal space.

Pirate goats!

Patrick Kontschak

this idea is stuck in my brain for some reason: a little knobbly and cranky potato person who lives underground

A.

There are tons of weird and wonderful creatures in Japanese folklore (they are called yokai). You can find an encyclopedia of them at yokai.com. Even more fun inspiration is the movie "The Great Yokai War" if you can find it online somewhere.

I mean if you want to be super crazy and try robots I say go for it. but as far as funky fantasy creatures, I would try some half human half animals and see where that takes you!

Baby Yaga

Beaked Harpy

Centaurs with abrasive personalities

Jackie

Fawns or Satyrs could be cool?

a very young displacer beast "like a kitttty" :0

Jenn Cox

Bridge trolls! Like 3 Billygoats Gruffl! Or selkies. I have soft spot for them. Or...a unicorn!! Have you ever drawn a horsr? Or thing like??

Jessica Moorleghen

Or! I don’t know if you’re familiar with the role playing game Changeling the Gathering but they had the most fascinating takes on fairy races. The sluagh in particular were my favorites as well as pooka.

Rusalka! Anything Russian! Domovoy! Baba Yaga! A harpy version of Zhar-Ptitsa!

it's not super crazy but I really like fairies! or really any tiny creature in a supersized environment!!

Swamp witch/harpy lady has a pet mimic. Which presumably does convenient things like catch vermin, or trick people into going into the swamp, or... idk.

Jorge F Robles

Beholders!

More shoulder creatures!!

Hmm... an adventurer's lazy wyvern mount yearns to ride a horse. A dragon discovers human fashion and takes it too far. Coven summons a demon to settle a bet. A princess asks a dragon for dating advice. Druid girl raised by wolves, but the wolves want her to move out and get a job.

Adam Brady

Grootslang (elephant snake, South African) sunning, werewolf shepherd, fairies watching Labyrinth or Legend, owlbears playing a game, nagas playing hopscotch (tail issues), theme park mascots babysitting young kaiju, magic mirrors

V B

Dragon hoard accountant, hydra a capella group, overly eager Kobolds babysit, a griffin finds the_best_ nesting material, ancient awakened evil has nostalgia for teenage years, powerful mythical beasts take over local government.

Adam Brady

Selkie? Dullahan?

Evan Fears

Trash Gryphons (rat+pigeon and so on) :>

Beaked Harpy

Maybe naga or lamia?

Cathy Lee

Been flipping through odd mythological creatures, let's see what you could do with a Tatzelwurm? :D

Steven Blodgett

Flapjack

Ansi Lunar

Carbuncle! Dnd critter. But the armadillo old school version :)

How about a biblical angel, but they’re a cat like a leopard but all their sports are eyes

Jackalovski

Lesbian Gnoll Keg Party

Jathby Dredas

A necRomancing Lich? A baby beholder? Lonely gelatinous humanoid who absorbs randomly found bones in look "more human"?

Dawn Dean

Can- can I ask you to sketch my character's familiar, a white snake-dragon (with front paws and wings and a looooing tail) who bleps knowledgeably and likes patterns (whether mathematical or karmic)? (Is cool if not cool, gonna try to think of some good friends for drawing too!)
