Description: Late 30's, Lya's stepfather
Purpose: Protect Lya
Former occupation: Sheriff of a colony planet TX-2.
TX-2: A toxic planet where the colonists inhabited a small portion of habitable area near the pole.
On one of his missions chasing down a gang of drug distributors, he discovers a group of enslaved orphans and rescues them (one of them being Lya). Having lost a daughter, he adopts Lya as his own and trains her to survive in this hostile environment.
Eventually he loses his job because of his bad eyesight, and so decides to pick up the bounty hunting business with Lya as his assistant.
