AOS has the most balls out of any show I know. To take the main character and turn her heel. To make her do things to actually hurt/possibly kill your favorite characters is more than edgy. I know people have their own favs but don’t get it twisted Daisy is the protagonist of this show and to have her evil is genius.

To me the tears in Daisy's eyes while she hurt Mack wasn't proof that she could control herself, but that part of her could still see what Hive's sway was making her do and it was destroying her to hurt Mack. To me it looked as if she was trying with everything inside her to not hurt him, since she could kill him easily. It made me realise that to some extent Mack was right. A part of her was awake and fighting. Unfortunately, Hive was stronger. I think Chloe Bennet performed beautifully.

i don't agree with what lincoln was doing here but i like how the show brought in fitz to kind of remind everyone that lincoln is not the first person to be reckless for the woman he loves. i loved that moment between fitzsimmons when they were speaking for daisy and lincoln not realizing that they were also talking for themselves. "daisy would never want someone acting so recklessly to save her" ".......well then i'm glad it's not up to her" always my favorite little bit from this episode.

It's crazy how much Pat evens out the reaction. I really missed him. Great reaction and can't wait for the rest of the reactions of Season 3. Also yes, I know Lincoln deserves criticism, but I'm still very happy that they're so empathetic about Lincoln. So many reactors hate him and enjoy when he suffers. It's refreshing to see people sad when Lincoln gets the short end of the stick.

yeah i think someone else explained the sway best in that it's more like she's in a cult than anything. she thinks she's seeing things clearly now in basically worshipping hive and she wants them to reach "clarity" like her and if they don't then she's gonna attack basically. but that's how the sway works. she's still daisy but........not lmao. she's NOT in control. and it does work like a drug. the way chloe bennet plays it is just so good...she's always got that vacant look in her eyes. she's saying all these things but there's just nothing there behind it. definitely one of her strongest performances up to this point in the show. also idk if anyone else feels this way but i've always felt that this daisymack fight had strong stevebucky parallels from the winter soldier. always loved that about it. HURTS SO GOOD HURTS SO GOOD. love all your theories! hoping you guys consider doing a double drop for the finale since it's a (very stressful) (and good) two parter.

Nope. We saw that while hive wants to get rid of them daisy wanted to turn them. His goal wasn’t to turn them she suggested it. If it was complete mind control then she wouldn’t suggest anything. Its a drug addict listening to her supplier because he has the drugs type of situation. It’s more powerful but it’s the same. The drug is just in her all the time. Is not her fault but it is still “her”

I feel like in the last few episodes we’ve seen to some level the extant of Daisy’s power when she does not care to subdue them, like Marketa said at the beginning, if she wanted to she could have entirely collapsed SHIELD HQ, but she didn’t. In this episode she took out a Kree Reaper on her own in a matter of seconds, if she really wanted to kill Mack she could have done it in one shockwave (the first one that sent him flying out of the lab) but she didn’t, that fight was completely one-sided and she did hurt him, a lot, and of course he would have died eventually had she continued but my point is none of her blows were lethal on their own, and at the end she was crying as she was hurting. So to me that clearly show that she was emotionally conflicted about what she was doing and that she clearly didn’t want to do it. I’m one of those who believes that her getting caught on camera WAS a cry for help, and that the restrain that she shows when dealing with SHIELD is not proof that she is in control of her actions but that there is still a bit of Daisy left behind Hive’s “sway”. Basically right now she is under the influence of a foreign organism, she is not herself, therefore she can’t 100% be held accountable for her actions. At least I know I wouldn’t hold her completely responsible for it, and truly, I kinda love the fact that each Normie got it’s own perception as to how much of herself is still left in Daisy. In any case great reaction guys! PS: I just realized, but maybe the reason Mack was so indulgent with Daisy was cause he too was forced to do violent things against his will, you remember in the Kree Temple? When he got infected by it and proceeded to attacked Coulson, Bobby, Fitz and Simmons in defense of it? None of them held him responsible for it. He wasn’t himself.

Just to clarify - while Daisy is consciously making choices, all her choices are heavily influenced by a desire to help Hive, so none of her choices are actually her own. She's essentially been rewritten by her adoration for Hive, so while it isn't exactly a Hive mind system where they have no personality or personal thoughts, it's more like a cult. She can't be blamed for her choices since they are already pre-programmed to coincide with Hive's desires. If Hive decided her friends needed to die, which he did just this episode, she'd want it too. She may go about it in a different way or even offer an alternative, but it he demands of she'll 'see the light 'and agree

Cap and Ironman are busy at the moment fighting each other lol. That’s why we got a shout out. Daisy situation is tricky. She does retain her personality, emotions and memories. Hive parasites are a drug that heightened your dopamine levels so she isn’t brainwashed but she is still drugged against her will. So you can’t really blame her but it’s still her in a sense tho...... very complicated.
