Just because it isn't on YouTube doesn't mean there isn't a time limit. YouTube are not the ones who decides that 10 minutes is allowed. That is HBO and the show producers decision. And that means that the 10 minutes goes for any website they choose to host the video on. Even if it is on Vimeo, Vimeo is still a legitimate business and can be sued for hosting unauthorized paid content like Game of Thrones. Also The Normies could get in serious legal trouble with HBO for selling copies of a show that is not theirs to sell.

GoldSrthur is correct. The flagging system isn’t a “I will win a copyright suit against you therefore I get to flag this video” type of thing. It’s “my contract is somehow used here and I want to claim it.” Then the person(s) being flagged have to dispute it. A lot of the times people don’t, not because it wasn’t fair use, but because litigation is EXPENSIVE AF and you’d lose more than you’d gain litigating it. Also I do believe the reactions would fall under transformative use. The 10 minute standard rose as a norm on YouTube and other video websites to cut down on a need to go after every creator. (I have a law degree if that helps). As for having the entire episode shown in the uncuts- no. It would be wrong for them to do, get the episode yourself and sync it. That’s never changing. Get over it.

The reunions felt rushed, didn't have much impact. The dragon riding scene felt like fan service. The big secret reveal to Jon also didn't do much besides Jon proclaiming Danny as queen anyway? Idk even the Normies reactions was pretty tame. Hopefully it gets more exciting.

HybridThizzle I never claimed that there was anything in copyright law about a "10 minute limit". HBO allows up to 10 minutes per episode of unedited footage to be used, regardless of laws. HOWEVER, fair use law (only applicable in the US, which they are) allows use of copyrighted material under certain situations. One of those situations is in case of "transformation", and reactions have been sufficiently tried and tested as adequate "transformation" to meet the requirement. I wouldn't ask them to do it if there was any risk. Not only is there no legal precedent for prosecuting reactions as against copyright, but, there IS legal precedent PROTECTING reactors under fair use.

I highly doubt that anyone is trying to watch a reaction in place of the show, and if they are, there are plenty of other reactors out there that react to the full episodes with single reactors (aka less background noise).

10 minutes of direct, unaltered footage. Reactions are not unaltered. They fall under transformative fair use. Youtube is only an issue, because of their personal ToS and regulations. As for all the people saying we are pirates, I can't think of anyone that would use a reaction for piracy. Piracy is easy enough. All it takes is a simple Google search. On the flip side, I want to see their full reaction, and I cannot properly see the reaction unless I have visual reference to what they are reacting to. If that weren't the case, then no reaction would need video, but clearly that's not the case.

10 minute limit isn't a matter of copyright law. It's just what HBO has stated they will allow for reaction videos. The people that think it has anything to do with law are just victims of an extremely long game of telephone. In legality, any copyright holder can claim a video for more than a 5 second clip or even just audio.

So I think you misunderstand how it works. Vimeo isn't excempt from copyright law. It's just that different networks enforce cr in different ways. I don't remember breaking bad uncuts to have the whole episode, but u maybe correct. Amc might have a different policy for enforcing it. HBO however pulls a three eyed raven and scouts all video sharing platforms for distributing it's content. Also u miss the point of uncut. Uncut ones are meant to be watched in Parallel with the show. They give u a few frames to sync up.

You seem to misunderstand, what the edited reactions are, what uncut reactions are and what you’re “paying” for. These uncut reactions aren’t the meat and potatoes nor should you expect them as such. These are simply bonus content. The edited reactions (which you will see tomorrow with the PnP) are the main source of views, and finally they don’t follow copyright law just because of “Youtube” they do so because its the law and the are a legitimate business.
