Thats an interesting way for immersion in a show. Its a great idea too. Implementing the timestamps of the social media posts to be posted at the same time it happens during the "live/first" airing the show is a good payoff if done well. There was a couple crime drama show here that have had murder messages on a website before so people can try breaking the riddles and puzzles to figure out the coded message before the next episode. Other than that there isn't much augmented viewing methods on TV here. Video games do it much more often.

The grownups relate to their own high school years and in general to beinga human. Because the show is about human relations and people who are developing themselves so you can easily translate feelings and situations over to similar but more grownups places like at work and stuff. And the website has chatts between the characters and Instagram pictures and stuff you don't see in the episode. You see everything important in the clips but the website was adding about 20% extra to the show I would say. And because chat/IG/clips where dropping in realtime everyone update the website like crazy as the show got more and more popular. Every IG accounts exists so you can go and find them if you want to. I don't know where you can find translated chat and SMS but I'm sure it is possible if you want to.🙂

So when the show was originally aired in norway, the show had a website where itwas posted in real time, so the day and time time stamp you se in the episode was the time that particular clip was released on the website, the episodes as you are watching them was a compilation of the weeks clips, shown at the end of the week. Along side that all the caracters had "real fake" accounts onfacebook at instagram, and you could follow that trough the website to follow the characters online interaction. Some texts were also posted on thewebsite,so it was a whole thing, and it worked. The norwegianteenagers were super into it.
