RIP Finn

You're missing the point that Clarke has to live with what's shes done. And so does her people. And Lexa knows that that's punishment enough.

Or maybe it was a fitting character arc. Finn was too naive in the first season. He broke and gave up when he realized that peace was impossible. What is with people and all this conspiracy speculation about the writers' "long game" lol get over yourself😂

2x11-2x16 best episodes by far, theres an iconic 2x11 Clarke scene and its my favorite

Finn had to die so that Bellamy could grow as a character - the show needed one central male character since it already had clarke. having two working side-by-side is more interesting, and Finn was just...more plain than Bellamy.

Also, this episode did a great job of fully explaining all of Finn's character, his abandonment issues, how unstable he has always been, and why he was never actually a pacifist nor built for this world.

- I agree that this would have made Lexa look weak to her people. Probably made Lexa really respect Clarke though
- Clarke and Murphy have an interesting dynamic
- in my opinion, episodes 2x11-2x16 are the best of the season. Can’t wait til you get there!

I was really glad Finn actually died at this point because he was a main character. From now on I was scared for characters to die because of this scene. This was the first time Clarke had to bear something for her people. The start of her making the tough decisions and having to live with them.

Clarke Griffin: the person you wanna go to for a mercy killing. This was Also the mid-season finale, so this was a pretty good cliffhanger to kick off the winter hiatus
