[Premium Access] Lost - 4x8 Meet Kevin Johnson - Group Reaction

Meet Kevin Johnson. Meet Kevin's Johnson. Meet Kevin John's Son.

Probably the best Michael episode of the series? I don't forgive the shitty thing he did but it really shows how the main players attempting to take the island for themselves will use anyone they can and manipulate them through any means. It's tragic what has happened to Michael. He made mistakes but this is kind of cruel IMO.

Definitely skipping next week. Definite filler. Definitely.

Haha, I think he did the same thing in the lead-up for "The Constant".

It took me so long to figure out that suraj was kidding about skipping the next ep. I was actually hella worried lol. Not cool, suraj, not cool.

Jacks upcoming episode is very important. In fact if it doesn't happen, then Jack does not save the world.

I personally think "3 minutes" from season 2 is a better Michael episode. It's quite adventurous and the Michael and Walt scene is quite powerful

Yus!!! Now we’re on the non-stop (bar kind of Jack’s next episode) every-week-matters LOST! This is going to be great😁

Anywho, all of that to say... When Ben throws Ana and Libby's killing into Michael's face, it always makes me cringe. It's such a disingenuous statement. Recall Ben/Henry nearly strangling Ana to death in the vault.

More just clarification when they go wildly off track! In other words, stuff they’ve already seen - spoilers would only be stuff they haven’t already seen

Michael was one of the people who was most screwed with. Walt's mother treated him like shit, cheated on him, and manipulated him into giving up his parental rights. Then he gets pulled into raising Walt when she dies, because her POS husband didn't want Walt. Before Michael can get acquainted with his son, they crash on a crazy ass island with a bunch of quirky strangers. Then, in a brave (and ingenious) attempt to rescue themselves and the others on the island, Walt is kidnapped by lunatics who refuse to identify themselves or their motives with Walt (one can only assume the worst). Then the others manipulate Michael into freeing the captured Ben, or else he'll never see his son again. Oh, and he can't tell any of the other LOSTies about their manipulation. The others put him into an impossible situation for ANY parent, and Ben has the audacity to say "YOU killed them Michael", in this episode... As if Ben's people hadn't kidnapped and manipulated Michael into freeing Ben (which was only going to happen if LOSTies weren't aware of what he was doing, hence the awful killing of Ana and Libby).

For some things LOST just wrote badly or times like this where they should've automatically knew who the killer was instead of them getting left guessing something ridiculous, I think it is okay to spoil a little dude. I know people don't like you spoiling but I would rather they get spoiled for something small like this(who killed them) and then get their reactions for other big things. The goal is to keep them excited and interested and not pissed off for something ridiculous and totally wrong and I think giving them small spoilers here and there might give a better experience for everyone involved(us and them). We know that there is some huge WTF moments in the next few seasons but if you steer the ship right with the correct small spoilers so they aren't left totally in the dark , I think they will have a better time and also give better reactions.
