It would actually be smarter if you didn't look up voices of characters to see who does other voices because they can easily lead the spoilers.. Don't really know why you guys even entertain that.

Now for the village names between sub and dub, they mean the same thing. Naruto is an old show and back when it was getting dubbed, the people working on it tried to make things make more sense for a regular english speaker rather than for a person who watches a lot of anime. Konohagakure is the japanese name for the village hidden in the leaves. The only difference is that one name is in japanese and the other is the enlgish translation. Konohamaru is named after the village. That is the extent to it. It might also be a smarter choice to call the village by its enlgish translation in the dub because tbh the show has a lot of symbolism dealing with a leaf, one including the symbol on the headband itself. and if the person watching the show doesn't know that konoha has something to do with a leaf then they might start thinking "why the hell is their a leaf on the headband and why does everyone in this village keep using leaves as an analogy?" So tbh it's not really that big of a deal. The names are only different because subtitles keep japanese words more than the english dubs do.

Kage just means shadow. So like the Hokage is the shadow of the flame (theyt live in the land of fire) and the Kazekage is the shadow of the wind (they live in the land of winds) They have the title of shadow because they aren't traditional leaders. Each nation has a kinng or emperor or whatever you want to call them. These leaders are more government oriented; where as the Kage are the leaders of the shinobi. So not only do the kage act as a shadow of the figurehead leaders, but its a term related to ninja.

HO - KAGE means "Fire Shadow". This is because the Village Hidden in the Leaves aka the Leaf Village (aka Konoha, which Konohamaru is named after), is the Land of Fire (in terms of their element). They're often symbolized as having the will of fire. KAZE KAGE relates to the fact that the Village Hidden in the Sand aka Sand Village is the Land of Wind. So I'm ASSUMING, I could be wrong, that KAZE KAGE means "Wind Shadow". Half of that is lightly mentioned here and there throughout the show but some of that is stuff you'd only know if you look up the meaning of some of the words so... yeah. Watching the show alone won't 100% explain that if you really wanted to know. Just know what words refer to what village. lol

i think what these last two episodes are trying to portray is how much guts this kid has like when he spoke down to cheif toad saying "listen to me you dumb toad im your master" or when he told the fox "listen here you dumb fox you owe me rent" or whatever lol it just shows that no matter how big or scary and powerful you are naruto is not afraid of you if he sets his mind to something hel never stop till he acheievs it he never gives up because thats his ninja way. if you challenge him he wont stop till he beats you or hes unconscious lol

Note that the kids aren't the front line of defense for the villages, they're TRAINING to be the front line of defense. It's why the vast majority of missions that you see the kids doing are escorting someone from A to B, looking for lost pets or just chores. Normally it's only the adults that go out and do what the Sand Village trio are doing or just fighting in general. Think of it like the kids are in boot camp and the adults are marines being deployed.

i agree, hes also indirectly trying to teach naruto that he is not here to baby him .in the world of shinobi it is ruthless and cutthroat, as you have already seen for yourselves, so not having someone hold his hand is good for naruto cause naruto will have to learn many other things on his own even tho it looks like jiraiya is not paying attention half the time. He is a kid but dont forget he is also a Ninja and to be a ninja its a tough road BELIEVE IT !

Yall should rewatch the first minute of the first episode. I feel that the small amount that is mentioned about the 4th Hokage might give some context and you might make some more links; especially after this episode.

I'm rewatching Naruto again and its so interesting. There is a trend in Naruto and once you finish watching all of it, you'll realise how well written it all is by Kishimoto. I saw you enjoy Avatar Legend of Aang and imo this is way better in terms of how you connect with the characters.

Jirayia is kinda hands off and let’s naruto figure things out for him self but if you think about the things he has already taught and helped naruto improve on, it’s already more than Kakashi has chakra and Jutsu wise

Boruto is ok, its a lot different then Naruto though and I would say that even talking about it...is kinda a spoiler.

Normies, bunta doesn't heal or give power. What he means is that he acknowledges naruto and is willing to fight alongside him when hes summoned. Oh, and the summoned animal you get is proportional to the amount of chakra you put into the summon.

You guys were right in assuming that the Kazekage was the Hokage in the Sand village. 'Kage' is a rank being the leader of a village and is also usually the strongest shinbi in the village. It also has a literal meaning of shadow. 'Kaze' means wind so Kazekage literally means 'Wind Shadow'. Hokage means 'Fire Shadow'. The names of the kages go according to the land in which their villages are located. For instance the Leaf Village (Konoha) is located in the Land of Fire and the the Sand Village (Suna) is located in the Land of Wind.
