Added 2019-06-11 21:44:39 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes because I just felt like the story started moving full throttle from here on our for the rest of S4!! Ben 'calls' upon the monster to help out the Losties and it is fucking AWESOME to watch EVERY TIME! The good thing about the black smoke cgi effect is that it surprisingly holds up over time. At least I think so. I know some parts in the series are a bit more dodgy than others but I just thought the image of him coming down into the Others village was so fucking cool!
Michael Emerson fucking KILLLLLLLS it in this show wow. I forgot just how brilliant this guy was. Watching his daughter get killed is one of the best things to happen to Ben in this show as I think it did a lot to change his perception for the audience. More-so than any previous episode did.

The Sawyer defending Hurley scene at the end is one of my favorite. You just know Sawyer would have fought Locke if Hurley didnt jump in.
