As for Mace he has been implementing secretive rules and lie detection yet lies himself. Worse than that he's been showing shady leadership by sending in agents into situations he has no idea about, no tracker or backup. The same thing I'll remind you Victoria Hand did in season 1 and ya'll went and trashtalked her but love Mace. The juxtaposition bros! And fun fact, since you mentioned Westworld: Season 4 and Westworld season 1 both aired fall of 2016. Anyway, great episode, cheers.

i love that shot of daisy, yoyo, and robbie together bc u get a shot of 3 superheroes and not one of them is white :) and also shield isn't bigger than them...they are shield. shield fell after the winter soldier but fury gave coulson the keys to rebuild it...around his team. so they ARE shield. and i feel like everyone has already forgotten how jemma already called mace out on lying about his own superhero story lol. remember how she got out of taking futher lie detector tests? it's bc she's blackmailing him bc she knows he's lying about vienna. she doesn't know the whole truth but she knows he's lying. so yeah...them not blindingly trusting him? valid. i love how u guys keep calling him tio bc that's not his name that's just uncle in spanish lol. DON'T STOP I LIKE IT. also that fitzsimmons shot....can you BELIEVE how far those two have come? from not being trained in the field to firing guns without a second thought. little science babies are all grown up :')

Now you really should watch the short slingshot miniseries after this episode. Each ep is like 4 minutes. The whole series is 30 minutes in total so it’s not long. Shorter then one shield episode. It is made to be watched before Episode 9 Our team has no reason to trust mace at all. Our team has been betrayed countless times so of course they aren’t quick to trust this new guy.
