[Premium Access] Naruto - Episode 61 Ultimate Defense, Zero Blind Spot! - Group Reaction

The fight spices up as Neji creates an ultimate shield around himself. I really love seeing all of Neji's backstory more fleshed out here. The Hyuga clan doesn't fuck around!

Yeah, blocked for me too. Still, I found the uncut one, though post episode discussion would be interesting to watch too

Pyotr Romanov

This is blocked in the US.

Pebrocks

Hi I just became a patreon supporter yesterday and I am trying to watch this episode but it is not available. Could you guys please fix it

Brandon Diaz

I know seriously

Minato Namikaze

I would actually pay more for you guys to watch more than two episodes a week. No rush, though, I understand you guys work hard. Thanks for the reactions! :)

Dan Bart

Got an email but ep 62 isnt showing up

Karthig

Hey normies a big fan here. I'd just like to say that it will be way better if you guys watch more than 2 episodes a week because naruto is kinda different than the animes you've been watching till now. Naruto and shippuden have alot of episodes even if you remove the fillers its also really slow paced so making a reaction video twice a week is way too low. Hope my english isn't that bad. Sending you my regards from The Netherlands :).

If you keep going by 2 episodes a week, you’ll finish the series by 2025. Naruto is not just any anime, it is slow paced because of its story line. It’s not like attack on Titan or my hero academia that gets straight to the point, it takes time to build the story line. You should watch like 4-5 episodes a week , at least and edit them together. Some fights takes like a whole 10-20 episodes. You don’t want to spend 2 or 3 months on a fight and forget about the storyline.

Daniel J Ononose

Well, at least a few here and there anyways. It's not uncommon that is to say. Not sure I'd say all do.

Michael Diaz

Chris: I don't know why he's on some destiny bullshit when he's stuck with this shit from the beginning. Translation: I don't know why he's all about destiny when his whole life revolves.... around destiny..... even tho that's literally probably why. lol He probably meant something else and I misinterpreted.

Michael Diaz

I really love Neji’s backstory too because it’s so applicable to real life, where society teaches people to accept that one’s socioeconomic circumstances will determine their futures. If you’re a certain race, gender, sexuality, age, class, faith and etc. there are only certain paths open to you in life, and it feels futile to fight against it because these are historical, entrenched social systems/paradigms that inform people’s every thought and action, the politics of the world. So people resign themselves to the glass ceilings, the social expectations, the plight of the marginalized, the self-fulfilling prophecies -- the “destinies” that perpetuate the systems that oppress them. I love that such a complex and immediate concept can be played out in this adolescent fight that’s as much about a clash of ideals and a revolutionary force meeting a passive, static one as anything else. Your theories about Kabuto and the Sand ninja were really interesting and creative too!

Sally

The thing about Naruto characters are, they all have some deep back story with some extremely tragic and sad stories.

Wait until you guys find out who Naruto parents are

Christopher Ike

It's so good!

NMD

I cant wait for you guys to react to the next intro song coming ;))))

Vic Valentine

You guys theory at the end is actually really cool, nice

Zee

Shikamaru’s is gonna close out the triple drop >>

Zee

It also destroys their byakugan when they die.

Adam Vialpando

Unfortunately each of the squad leaders seem to focus on 1 member and neglect the others. Yeah Neji is gifted and Lee was an underdog, but Neji had a pretty shitty childhood too and probably could have benefitted from help from Gai.

BeesKnees

I can’t wait for gaara’s fight and shikamaru’s fight.

Smiling viper

Nahid is on point my boy always spot with the analysis brother what you said was pretty spot on bro

William Pahau

So when neji was training in the forest with tenten, the rotation technique was what he was learning , and she was firing her weapons at em thats why she was all outr breath and couldnt get through it ,

William Pahau

Great comparison haha

Zee

WE ARE FIGHTING DREAMAHS!

Zee

Only 17 more episodes until you hear the hypest opening song (IMO) in Naruto history.

SeymourAsces

I couldn't stop the tears 😭😭😭 oh Neji!

LOL how did I know Chris was gonna be the most mad about Neiji’s back story! XD

Yolo Samurai

Nejiiiii 😭😭 This episode brings the feels.

Arianne Kay

"She is sucking neji off with the force of a thousand vacuums" -swagkage

stephen

All the best cowboys have daddy issues, tight Suraj? 🤣🤣🤣

Sou saetern

but what i gathered i think he wanted to see her powers or chakra or abilities not to kill he does love his brother and wouldn't think of that i believe he wanted to see her abillties

hesa

I KNOW!!!

Sou saetern

One of the best fights in Naruto. There were many good fights in Naruto but this one is still one of the top 10 for me.

"Give up on Shadow Clones." You uh... you're pretty much telling Goku to give up the Kamehameha. Shadow Clones are just Naruto's thing. Also friendly reminder that Kabuto IS a medical ninja. Kakashi mentioned it back when Kabuto was about to kill Sasuke in the hospital.. and it's a VERY important thing to remember about his character, going forward.

Miasimon

Teten is insufferable 🙄

Siegmeyer

The curse mark only suppresses their abilities when someone of the main branch activates it like when Hinata's father activated his brothers. Otherwise its more or less a tattoo.

Phil Bonney

When i first watched this show I really liked Lee and hated Neji. Now, while I still like Lee I'm a much bigger fan of Neji. He had a way more messed up childhood. Lee was an underdog. Neji was basically a slave in all but name. In fact now I question why Gai focused so much effort on Lee and practically treated Neji like an enemy despite knowing what the Hyuga are like. The caged bird seal seems like an open secret among the older shinobi.

Adam Vialpando

So many characters have such sad back stories in this anime. You’re bound to see more and learn more about them as you keep watching the series TT__TT

theGeekOutGirl

So do it

Zee

You didn’t enjoy this?

Zee

I swear to god someone can easily edit 2 or 3 episodes into 1

Deadpool

The good thing about Naruto though is if you don’t remember something the series will go over it again if it is important. If they don’t remember it now the Gaara episodes will bring it up again.

Jjop017

Yeah there are similarities to it. The homages to dragon ball are done so well

I don't mind not seeing all three episodes together, but I would really appreciate if you watch them in on sitting just like Rock Lee vs Gaara, if you keep doing it that way for 'must triple drop weeks' then there won't be the "what were we left on? oh yeah the fight" I have not watched the videos yet as I'm at work, so if you talked about it then great.

Omar

Definitely. I think they should react to their initial reactions once they finish it all haha. Naruto really does take you on a journey.

Remember this episode please, I think it’s one of the most important. This defo shaped Naruto as a character and the anime. It appears you guys enjoy the taijutsu which I do too and it improves so much as the series goes on.

Eargasm every time!!

Billieboi

FYI: Triple drops will always be reserved for the last week of the month everyone. This has been reiterated a few times now on here and verbally in the videos as well.

The Normies

I think they’re starting to realize one of the good things about Naruto, almost every character who is in the show for more than 2 episodes has a unique backstory and their own goals/motives.

Dont worry.. naruto's fight is probably the least exciting of all the finals fight... imo at least. Cant wait for shikamaru's fight!!!!

Rain

You guys have to remember the Kazekage is Gaara’s father. You know, the one who’s tried to kill him a bunch of times. Also kankuro(crow) and temari’s dad.

Denver Gray

Facts triple drop

Kyky

That's not how royalty works. Hizashi won't be head of the clan since Hinata is still alive

shenanigans

this should have been a triple drop :(

Minato Namikaze

Triple drop?

This match up I feel had to be inspired by Goku vs Tien from Dragon Ball

Zee

The animation from the rotation to 64 palms was so smoove, wow

Zee

Was Kakashi and Lee insufferable when they did the same thing ?

Zee

If there was good time for a triple drop it would be now

Hmz13

Hey man I've copied and pasted your comment to the normies on discord bro, and they've read it and really appreciate the info bro. nice 👍

STEAMY_DA_GOD

jyuukenpou: Hakkerokujuuyonshou!

olof

Correct me if im wrong but the following episode after the third one is neji talking to his uncle, so it makes sense that they are devided into double drops

Fred Carmichael

Neji's father let his emotions slip and he had thoughts about hurting Hinata. Hinata's father felt his brother's killing intent in the room. It's the same thing that Sasuke and Sakura felt in the Forest of Death and Kakashi as well when they were face to face with Orochimaru. It's never really explained in the show, but it's really just that you can feel when someone is actually going to try or has the intention to kill you. So back with Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi, it's presented to us as them "seeing" their own death, when in actuality it was them "feeling" it, or the very strong intention for that person to kill them. The feeling in the air, the look in their eye, etc, it's all noticeable to them, even more so bc they have heightened senses. So Hiashi felt the killing intent that his brother was giving off and he reacted to defend Hinata. Neji and Hinata didn't sense it bc they have zero awareness of death at that point, but the ninja world is a deadly one.

JediMasterSamson

eh, ten ten was just acknowledging her teammates strength. In the same way sakura does for naruto and sasuke and ino does for shikamaru's knowledge. And with reason Because neji's moves are insane

Damn was hoping for a triple drop to finish off the fight

Karthig

Guys not sure if you know this by now but naruto's creator and author Masashi Kishimoto, tend to use concepts, history, folklore, mythology, and ideology found in and japan and overall eastern world. The thoughts and concepts that Neji and his clan hold are not to fare off from that of the Caste System of India. Of how whatever life a person is born to, is the life they will have until they die and it is that person's duty to fulfill what their role is in life and that it can not change.

This should've been a triple drop!

Jonathan Ruiz

The Hyuga is for sure one of the strongest clans in the leaf. Honestly, they're all pretty sick. You see a hyuga and your like... aight they're probably lit.

Varun Narayanswamy

lmao even they know tenten be dick-riding neji.

Zephyr115

I think it is because Americans associate the swastika with Hitler when it was originally symbol of divinity and spirituality and it was changed for western audiences.

Xymtyx

The anime actually changed the look of neji's curse mark. In the manga it resembles the swastica. I guess the anime didnt want to make implications that the hyuga clan are nazi's maybe

😑
