Death Note and Berserk are in a different league compared to the rest of the anime from the list.All the rest are also good except for the seven deadly sins (I read the manga). In my opinion, the power of love and friendship in this form is no longer relevant and this is the level of just average anime. Better make more Naruto episodes per week to get to the Pain arc faster.

I wish that they left one anime slot for shows that are ~26 episodes or less. That way there is always at least one slot that gets changed semi-"frequently". Gurren Lagann is one of the greatest shounen of all time but its never going to win against "pop" and meme type shows like SDS and Death Note. Ghost in the Shell also had a big effect on the anime industry. I honestly thought people would be tired of Death Note by now. It's a good show but it would be nice to see lesser known gems get a reaction.

It's not on the list but I highly recommend watching Mob Psycho 100. It’s made by the same guy who made One Punch Man and both Seasons 1 and 2 were animated by Studio Bones. Season 1 already has been dubbed and I believe the dub for Season 2 has been released. If you wanted the same animated eyegasm that was brought to you by One Punch Man Season 1, and were disappointed with Season 2, then Mob Psycho will not disappoint. Without spoiling, Mob Psycho has the same brand of humor as OPM, but has way more depth and story to it. The way it has been described was that OPM was a hobby, whereas Mob Psycho was his passion project.
