As a Middle Eastern actor, its bound to be frustrating to always be cast as the terrorist... but if you're the person writing the story, and theres a terrorist in the story, what options do you have? You either cast the appropriate person for the role, even if it is a stereotype, or you change the role. And changing character backstories after the fact really hurts a story.
