I'm 100% sure that ya'll got the memo on this already, but Gaara wasn't just BORN killing people. His sand hurt others when he was under high levels of emotional stress/danger, and of course being an emotionally damaged wreck of a child who isn't really taught how to handle his feelings didn't really help much either. Being young and unable to control the emotions that just so happen to be attached to a power that kills people is the definition of unlucky. With the treatment he had to endure as a small child, being despised and hunted just for existing, it's no wonder he turned into the monster they always made him out to be. Honestly the scene where he attempts to cut himself hits me a lot more now that I'm older, since the implications of him possibly having depression/self harm fixations at such a young age are really heartbreaking. Anyway though really loving your Naruto reactions guys! Can't wait for next week.

Also, that guy Gaara said "Father" to was his actual father lol - he's the Kazekage. And Gaara was pretty much brought up in hate, so when assassins started coming after him he started killing.

Jesus Christ, whoever is responsible for releasing these episodes needs to get on the ball. I'm paying ten bucks a month, I shouldn't have to sit around all day wondering when the episode is gonna release. Either set up a schedule where you can release these videos at a set time each week or lower the price of this patreon tier because I'm about to say fuck it and just wait a few weeks for you guys to catch up on youtube. Like I get that the pacing is ridiculously slow, but I feel that it's important to not talk over information lol. Pretty much everyone on this show needs therapy because they all come from a broken home. Naruto was an orphan from the day he was born. Sasuke's clan was wiped out. Gaara, that whole situation we just saw is just tragic. Hinata's family treats her like dirt. Haku watched his mom murdered by his dad who then tried to kill him. Shikamaru lives with an alcoholic father and since we never see sakura's parents, I'm assuming they just ignore her and that's probably why she started off the series as a spoiled brat
